In 2022, it’s the return of a hybrid car at McLaren. The McLaren Artura employs a new lightweight carbon platform and its powertrain is a new twin-turbo V6 mated to an electric motor. In 100% electric mode, the car will have a range of 30 kilometers. One of the most interesting facts is that the car has no reverse gear. It’s rather the electric motor that turns in the opposite direction to reverse the car. The Canadian price is yet to be confirmed, but with a price starting at $225,000 in the US, it’s easy to understand that this is an exceptional car.
